Spanish news source AS have reported that Leeds United are planning to sign Spanish attacker Alfonso Pedraza.
Leeds are fighting for promotion to the Premier League this season and manager Gary Monk has made it clear that he wishes to add players into his squad in order to strengthen their chances of gaining promotion.
Pedraza is currently playing for Segunda division side Lugo on loan from Villareal. Reports have suggested that Leeds are in talks with Villareal over a possible loan deal for the player with an option to sign the 20-year-old winger on a permanent basis for £8.5 million.
This season Pedraza has scored six goals and recorded eight assists. He will certainly add energy to the Leeds United attack. He is an exciting prospect and a move to Leeds United is definitely good for his career.
Should they win promotion, he will likely be acquired permanently and should miss out, he will rejoin Villarreal.
