Garry Monk makes stern demands to the Leeds’ board

Leeds United manager Gary Monk has demanded that the clubs board make provisions to sign new players, according to Yorkshire Evening Post (quoted by the Daily Express).

The club who are chasing promotion the English Premiership will be disappointed after crashing out of the FA Cup at the hands of Sutton United.

Leeds were outplayed by Sutton, who won 1-0. There were 11 changes from the team that beat Nottingham Forest on Wednesday though Monk defended his selection.

Monk was certainly justified by his decision to rest first team regular players. Promotion to the Premier League should certainly be the top priority for the club at this point in time.

To boost their chances of advancing to the Premier League, reinforcements would also certainly help. Currently the club are linked Grimsby star Omar Bogle who has starred this season scoring 19 goals in all competitions.

They have also been linked with Swansea star Modou Barrow, who has been a key part of Swansea’s team this season.
