Tottenham agree a deal for young defender

Tottenham have loaned out young defender Luke Amos to Southend United until the end of the season. The 19-year-old has never featured for the Tottenham senior team and will look to gain first team football with Southend between now and the end of the season.

He was named in the Tottenham squad which faced Liverpool during their EFL Cup defeat in October and many of the clubs development staff reportedly have high hopes for the player. He has also made 7 appearances in the Premier League 2.

The player who has represented England under-18 will have to use this opportunity to try and impress Tottenham’s staff as well as to learn as much as possible for his future career. Loan moves can often make or break players future dreams.

Should Amos fail to impress during this loan spell, Tottenham may decide to offload and he may have to try and work his way up from the lower tiers.
