Chivas took a rough loss to Xolos last week.  It doesn’t sound too bad except for the fact that Guadalajara fell at Estadio Chivas, against a team traditionally weak on the road.  Now it is Chivas who will be the visitors when they meet Queretaro on Saturday.  Queretaro have yet to score this season, so Chivas fans should be expecting a win, or a draw at the very least.  Here are the eleven players you can expect Matias Almeyda to trot out there:

Goalkeeper: Rodolfo Cota

Left Back: Edwin Hernández

Hernández has this spot on complete lockdown.

Center Backs: Oswaldo Álanis and Jair Pereira

You can never be too sure who will be starting at CB for Chivas these days.  Nobody stands out, but nobody is in over their head, either.

Right Back: Jesús Sánchez

Like his buddy on the opposite side, Sánchez is really the only choice for right back.

Center Midfielders: Orbelín Pineda and Michael Pérez

The cornerstones of the team started last week, and I don’t forsee any changes here.

Left Wing: Isaac Brizuela

The versatile Brizuela has been a sub in all three games this year, but should finally get a start this weekend.

Central Attacking Midfielder: Rodolfo Pizarro

Chivas paid big money for Pizarro, and he is not budging from this spot any time soon.

Right Wing: Javier “Chofis” López

Chofis is turning out to be quite the player; he is a big threat to score, and a much bigger threat to create a goal for someone else.

Striker: Alan Pulido

Like Pizarro, Pulido isn’t going anywhere, and he’s already got a goal to his name this season.
