Tigres UANL arguably have the strongest, most in-depth squad in all the Liga MX. Well now Ricardo ‘Tuca’ Ferretti is making strides to solidify his roster even more. Ferretti has secured Luis Advincula from Turkish club, Bursaspor. The Peruvian fullback was on loan with Newell’s Old Boys in the Argentinean league and will now form part of Tigres UANL in the Liga MX.
If one area was missing for Ferretti was a right back; while Jorge Ivan Estrada was doing solid work at the position, his career is in the regression stages at 33-years-old. Advincula is only 26-years-old, has been playing professionally since 2009, and has also formed part of the Peruvian national team since 2010. The 5-foot-9 man is identified by his rapid pace and carries good physicality with him as well.

The addition of the Peruvian fullback will make Ferretti’s defense one of the strongest in the league with Jorge Torres Nilo, Hugo Ayala and their captain, Juninho. Not to mention the defensive work that Jesus Dueñas and Guido Pizarro also provide in midfield.
Advincula has played all around the globe in his extensive career from Peru, Argentina and Brazil to Portugal, Germany, Turkey and even Ukraine. Tigres will mark the ninth club that the 26-year-old has been a part of and Mexico will be the eighth country he has played in.
