As many as three English clubs are reportedly interested in Montpellier midfielder Ryad Boudebouz, according to reports.

talkSPORT, via Foot Mercato, claims that West Ham, West Brom and Newcastle United are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old, who has been in superb form this season.

Ligue 1 giants Marseille have also been linked with a move for the Algeria international.

Boudebouz, an attacking midfielder by trade, has managed to score seven league goals for his club this season. His tally makes him the highest goalscorer for his club in the current season.

All the mentioned clubs have reportedly scouted the talented midfielder in recent months and could make a formal approach in January.

The Algerian is currently nursing a knee injury and is set to miss the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Boudebouz signed for Montpellier from another French club, Bastia, in 2015. He represented France at youth levels but switched allegiances to Algeria before the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
