According to Mundo Deportivo, a Spanish sports newspaper, Paulo Dybala would’ve told Real Madrid he would like to join the club. Juventus will do everything to extend his contract very soon.

The Argentinian striker has been rumored to be on Los Blancos’ shortlist even during his Palermo days. He already sports the #10 jersey for La Vecchia Signora, one that is usually saved for special players.

With a bright future ahead and at 23 years old, the time is right for Florentino Pérez to make a move for another galáctico. The recent news of the reduction of the FIFA ban opens up the avenue of big summer signings for the club.

While the player’s supposed desires are a good sign, Juventus won’t make it easy for him to leave. Extending his contract would help them increase the asking price. Just this past summer they sold Paul Pogba for a world-record fee.

The fact that the report comes from a Catalan news source is also another positive element. FC Barcelona is also very interested in buying the striker and pair him up with one of his idols, Lionel Messi.

Even though the Blaugrana can’t compete financially at the moment, selling a top player would certainly make this negotiation more likely to happen.

Karim Benzema is 29 years old and Cristiano Ronaldo will be 32 in February. Thinking of a replacement is smart, as waiting until it’s absolutely necessary will just raise the price even more.

Dybala could be a fantastic addition. Still, he won’t be the only man on Real’s agenda in the summer, as men like Hazard, Lewandowski and other old flames could also step into the picture.
