According to reports from Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Premier League giants Arsenal are currently considering a move for Genoa attacker Leonardo Pavoletti
Following a shaky start to the campaign, Arsenal have managed to recover in fine fashion and have moved up to 3rd place in the Premier League table following the hard fought 1-0 victory over Burnley a fortnight ago.
On current form, it does look like Arsenal will be able to finally stake a genuine claim for the Premier League title but as the Gunners’ fans can attest to, the North London giants still have a lot of work to do before dreaming about earning such a triumph.
The current Arsenal squad does look strong but it is believed that manager Arsene Wenger will be looking to further reinforce his ranks during the January transfer window and a host of names have already started being linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Now according to reports emerging out of Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, it has been claimed that Arsenal are currently eyeing up a swoop for Genoa attacker Leonardo Pavoletti.
Pavoletti has been one of the most prolific strikers in Italy over the past few years and he managed a fine haul of 14 goals in just 25 appearances in Serie A last term.
Such a good run of form has seen Pavoletti attracting the interest from numerous clubs and Tutto Meracato believe that Arsenal will be looking to sign the 28-year-old former Leeds United target (Football Italia) during the upcoming January transfer window.
