Arsenal are reportedly interested in Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal, according to Goal.com. The reports says that Lyon are looking for €15 million in exchange for the player.
Ghezzal had a breakout year in the top tier of France soccer last season, as he scored 8 goals with 8 assists in 29 league games (only 16 starts). These are very strong stats from a winger, and Ghezzal could definitely prove to be a useful player for Arsenal if he is added to the squad.
The reports also says that Everton has already had a €10 million offer for Ghezzal rejected, and West Ham is also interested in acquiring his services. Arsenal are interested in a move for Ghezzal, but the report says they may wait until January to make a move to sign him.
Arsenal are also still trying to sign Riyad Mahrez, and if they are able to get the Leicester City winger that would certainly make a move for Ghezzal much less likely to happen.
For now, it seems like the Gunners are keeping an eye on Ghezzal, and they may sign him in the January transfer window if no move for Mahrez materializes.
