Chelsea must be very much pleased with Willian extending his contract and signing a new 4-year deal. The Blues announced on their official website that the midfielder has agreed the terms on his new contract. The 27-year-old Brazilian is now committed to Chelsea until 2020.
The new deal was imminent, as Conte would really make the best use of a hard-worker like Willian. Chelsea’s Player of the Year was the only one to shine last year, when each and every member of the squad failed to perform.
Willian enjoyed a great run of form throughout last season, for which he has been rewarded with a new deal. Having such a versatile player in the squad is a plus for any manager and for a strategic manager like Conte, Willian is bound to shine.
