Report: Manchester United signing undergoing medical

Ibrahimovic

After a disappointing season under Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United is on the up with the reported news that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is undergoing a medical, according to SkySports.

The 34-year-old recently retired from international competition for Sweden, however, it is understood that the striker has landed at United’s Carrington training complex to complete his medical for the Manchester giants.

Ibrahimovic’s move to United has yet to become official on the club’s website but the former Paris Saint-Germain talisman recently posted his plans on Instagram.

Rumors suggest that he must must first pass his medical in order for the deal to be confirmed, nonetheless, the possible signing would reunite Ibrahimovic with Mourinho.

The two worked together during their time at Inter Milan and if the deal goes through Ibrahimovic would be the second signing of the Mourinho era following the confirmed deal of Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

Although Ibrahimovic is at the tail end of his career he can still offer United the scoring punch that they desperately lacked last season and more importantly, he, along with Mourinho will bring back the United swagger that has been missing since Sir Alex Ferguson retired back in 2013.
