Report: Arsenal keen on £45 million-rated attacker

Lacazette

Arsenal is reportedly interested in French international and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Daily Mirror. The asking price for Lacazette is said to be about £45 million.

Lacazette is 25 years old, and he has been thriving in Ligue 1 for a few years now.

Over the past 3 seasons for Lyon, Lacazette has played a total of 103 games in Ligue 1, scoring 63 goals along with 12 assists.

His strong club performances have earned him 10 appearances for the French National Team, and he may now be looking for a new challenge at the club level.

Lacazette is a good, young player who could help Arsenal for years to come. The Gunners are still searching for a striker, and Lacazette is one of the better options remaining on the market.

Arsene Wenger seems to really like Lacazette, and Arsenal has the funds to pay his transfer fee if they so desire.

However, they will face stiff competition with West Ham and Atletico Madrid, who are also both reportedly interested in Lacazette.

It seems like there is a reasonable chance that Lacazette comes to Arsenal this summer, but at this point a deal is far from a sure thing.
