According to the Mirror, Arsenal are eyeing up a move for Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle United. The French international is available on a cut-price deal, and the Gunners are reportedly keen to sign the midfielder for just £10 million.

Sissoko ended the season on a high, but failed to prevent his team from relegation. It seems that the Newcastle United captain who made 39 appearances this season, might be heading to Arsenal, as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his midfield prior to the 2016/17 campaign.

Sissoko has been on Arsenal’s radar since last summer and the midfielder has admitted that Arsenal are his dream club. The 26-year-old midfielder, who can play in different positions across the midfield, will add some pace and strength to the team.

Following relegation, Newcastle United are set to lose some of their top stars, and Sissoko is expected to be one of the first to depart the club. The French international has talked about his desire to play in the Champions League, and with Arsene Wenger looking to strengthen his midfield, it seems it is only a matter of time before he makes the move to North London.
