LvG feels that what he has accomplished at Manchester United is “unbelievable”

Louis Van Gaal was delighted after Manchester United came back from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace. Jesse Lingard sealed the deal for Van Gaal’s men with a spectacular volley into the back of the net. Winning the trophy for the first time in 12 years was a delight for United and their fans.

Ending the season with a title was something that each and every member of the squad wished for. Van Gaal admitted that his aim was to bring the title which, United had not won since a long time. He claimed to have gained the experience of English Football, despite the transition they had to make in the team.

“A lot because that was my aim. My aim was the experience of English football, English culture and to bring a title to Manchester United in spite of the transition that we have to make. I’m very happy because I’ve done it in four countries and I don’t think many other managers can say this. It [feels] unbelievable” said LvG.

After winning the FA Cup, doubts still sustain in the minds of every person related to the club, whether or not the big titles are bound to come under Louis Van Gaal. Recent reports suggested that all Van Gaal had to do in order to save his job was to win the FA Cup.
