Premier League side Chelsea will be ready to sell Thibaut Courtois if they receive a fee in the region of around £50million for the goalkeeper in the summer, according to reports from the Times
With the arrival of Antonio Conte as manager next season, Chelsea are expected to go through sweeping changes and a number of surplus players have been touted to leave the club during the upcoming summer.
Courtois set for Chelsea exit
In a surprise rumor though, it has been claimed that Chelsea are keen on also dispensing with the services of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Courtois was hailed as one of the best goalkeepers in the world not too long ago but the Belgian international has endured a below par campaign this term.
In addition, Courtois has made less than flattering comments regarding Chelsea on more than one occasion while on international duty and such antics have seemingly not gone down too well with Blues’ hierarchy.
Given his immense talent, Chelsea have no problems with keeping hold of Courtois but according to reports from the Times, the 23-year old is no longer indispensible and Conte has instructed the Premier League side to offload the goalkeeper if they receive a bid in the region of around 50million – with PSG and Real Madrid being mentioned as an interested parties.
