The Xolos Tijuana vs Puebla Liga MX match will be held this Friday, April 29, 2016 (7:30 PM Pacific) at the Estadio Caliente in Tijuana. This Clausura 2016 Week 16 match is a must-win for both teams in the push for playoff qualification.
Xolos of Tijuana has been disastros recently as they have not won since their match against Chiapas five games ago in March 12. The team coached by Miguel ‘Piojo’ Herrera collapsed in their playoff push and currently sit on a four game losing streak in which they have received 15 goals. Xolos are currently in 14th place with 16 points, and must win their remaining two games (plus a miracle) to have any possibility of reaching the playoffs.
Puebla also must win this Friday to remain in the playoff qualification race. The ‘camoteros’ sit in 12th place with 18 points and must also win their last two games to remain with a chance of earning a place in the ‘liguilla’.
