According to Guus Hiddink, Hazard’s poor run of things this season is all because of his fitness. The Dutchman said that Hazard never recovered from the injuries fully, but was asked to perform on the pitch, which led to a downfall in his form since a sensational last season.

Now, when Hazard has recovered from the injury fully, Hiddink said, “I saw him moving more freshly. He enjoyed it, he was free of any doubt in his mind. That was a good sign for me.”

Hiddink has no doubt in his mind that Eden Hazard will claim PFA Player of the Year Trophy again as it’s nothing far from reach of the winger. His advice to Hazard is to start from the basics and then on to his showboating skills.

It was Hiddink’s decision to give Eden Hazard extra time to recover from the injury and it has proved to be beneficial for Hazard, as well as for the team. Hiddink has assured that Hazard is very happy at Chelsea and he is a really important player for them. His return to form has added a fresh spark to the match against Tottenham.
