Good news for all the Chelsea fans and John Terry himself, as the captain is finally training with the ball. “So good to get back outside today with the ball. 21 years playing and that feeling never goes away,” Terry captioned his video while practicing on the pitch.
Last week, captain Terry posted a pic of himself getting PRP Therapy to speed up his recovery process and results appear to be good for the defender. Hiddink confirmed in the pre-match conference that John will travel with the team, as they are set to face Bournemouth, but it’s unlikely Terry gets any playing time.
Though, if he manages to train with the squad next week, there is a high possibility of him returning to action against Tottenham next week, admits the interim boss.
This season hasn’t been good for John Terry, as questions have been asked over his fitness and whether or not he will continue at Stamford Bridge. With only a few more games left to play, Terry will be desperate to prove why he should be offered another contract at Chelsea under Antonio Conte.
