The Houston Dynamo will host the Los Angeles Galaxy this Friday, April 15, 2016 (4:00 PM Pacific) at the BBVA Compass Stadium. In what has become a good rivalry between MLS Cup opponents, this match will be one of the must-watch games during the weekend.

The Houston Dynamo have begun the season performing inadequately as after 5 games they have earned only earned 5 points; 1 win, 2 ties, and 2 losses. Sitting in 8th place of the Western Conference, the team coached by Owen Coyle will have a difficult visitor in Galaxy. Nonetheless, the Texan side is in real need of a win and they will have the advantage as they are the home side.

Like the Dynamo, the LA Galaxy have also under-performed early into the 2016 season. After 5 games, they sit in 6th place of the Western Conference with 8 points after 2 wins, 2 ties, and 1 loss. Bruce Arena’s side entered the season as one of the favorites to win in all after the signings of several top European talent like Nigel de Jong, Ashley Cole, and Jelle Van Damme. To their misfortune, they have had several difficult opponents early on (D.C. United, Portland) which may have hampered an early takeover in top of the standings. Against Houston, Galaxy will have a great opportunity to win and possibly reroute into a brighter course.
