Colombia’s Santa Fe will host Brazil’s Corinthians in one of the most interesting matches this week (and possibly of the whole group stage) in the Libertadores tournament. Both Santa Fe and Corinthians, plus Paraguay’s Cerro Porteño are involved in a close contest to finish in the top two seeds to access the knock-out round of the competition.
With 9 points after 3 wins and a loss, Corinthians will qualify with a win in their difficult visit to Colombia. Meanwhile, Santa Fe will momentarily be in first place of the group if they defeat the Brazilians, but a loss or a tie could place them in third if Cerro Porteño defeats Cobresal.
