Manchester United ready to cough up £95million for superstar striker

Aubameyang

Borussia Dortmund director Joachim Watzke will only listen to offers that are between £78m and £95m for prolific striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to British news site The Metro.

Watzke spoke on the topic recently, stating “If at any time an offer of €100m (£78m) or €120 million (£95m) for Aubameyang comes to us, then we will discuss.” Aubameyang is on fire this season for the second-placed Bundesliga club with 32 goals in 36 appearances and clubs are interested.

Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, who is widely reported to have a gentleman’s agreement with United to be the next coach, is dead set on signing the French-born Gabonese star, and many observers agree that the Red Devils are situated best financially to acquire him over the summer.

The 26 year-old is not a player the German side wants to lose, but £95million should make it a bit less painful.
