This Friday, April 1, 2016 Xolos of Tijuana will host Queretaro at the Estadio Caliente for Week 12 of the Liga MX Clausura 2016. The game will begin at 8:30 PM Pacific and will be televised on Azteca America.

Xolos of Club Tijuana will hope to gain their first home win of the season as they have surprisingly failed to do in a stadium they have historically been known to dominate. Coach Miguel Piojo Herrera’s side has the league’s best defense with only 11 goals conceeded, but has the fourth worst offense with only 12 goals scored. If they win against Queretaro, not only will Tijuana extend their undefeated streak to eleven games, but they would reach 19 points and establish themselves as strong ‘liguilla’ contenders.

The team coached by Manuel Vucetich, Queretaro, has had a disastrous tournament in which they have only earned 9 points and sit far from a possible playoff spot. A win at the still difficult Estadio Caliente will keep their hopes alive, but the favorite on Friday night will be Xolos.
