Manchester United management are committing to a major clear-out of talent no matter who replaces Louis Van Gaal as coach next season, and according to a recent report from The Daily Mirror.
The 26 year-old defender Marcus Rojo, signed three years ago from Sporting Lisbon on a five year contract for £16million, will be the first to go.
Rojo recently told the media that he hoped to return to Argentina to play for Estudiantes in 2019, but now it looks like United are set to get rid of him at the first opportunity.
Rumours are circulating that Real Madrid are leading the race to procure his services over the summer and will take advantage as United look to drastically reshape their squad.
Rojo started his youth career playing for Estudiantes, and then had brief stints at Spartak Moscow and Sporting Lisbon before heading to Old Trafford in 2014 in what he has described as a dream come true.
