Tottenham Hotspur are looking to strengthen there offence by bringing Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini to White Hart Lane this summer, according to SportMediaSet.
The Italian striker, 24, has a contract with Napoli until 2019, but the Italian side are content with letting the striker leave due to their abundance of attack minded players, only for the right price though.
The striker could be seen as a good backup option for star striker Harry Kane. Spurs have had to run with only one striker after youngster Clinton N’Jie went down with an injury.
Luckily Kane has been healthy this season and has been available for selection most matches — he missed a match due to a broken nose. Kane is a huge reason why Tottenham are current in second place in the Barclays Premier League.
Tottenham however aren’t the only club in the Premier League to be looking at Gabbiadini, they’re not even the only club in London looking at him. It’s been reported that West Ham United are interested in Gabbiadini as well, and are more than prepared to get into a bidding war with the Lilywhites for his services.
Gabbiadini has three goals and two assists in 17 league appearances this season.
Do you think Spurs need another striker?
