Barcelona Strongest Lineup vs Celta Vigo: 4-3-3 with Turan to start

Barcelona sealed their place in the Copa Del Rey final with a comfortable 1-1 draw against Valencia in the second leg on Wednesday and with most of the first team regulars rested on the night, the Catalan giants will be raring to go once again in La Liga.

Up next for Barcelona is a clash against Celta Vigo and although the Célticos are currently in a poor run of form, the game should be a challenging affair for the Champions.

Here is the Strongest Possible Barcelona Lineup against Celta Vigo –

Goalkeeper

Claudio Bravo was rested once again in the Copa del Rey encounter against Valencia in midweek and the Chilean will be taking his place between the sticks this weekend for the La Liga encounter with Celta Vigo.

Bravo produced a host of quality saves during the clash against Levante last time out to guide Barcelona to victory and he is expected to play a big role on Sunday as well due to the fact that Celta Vigo are a dangerous attacking outfit.

Defence

Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique, Javier Mascherano and Dani Alves were all rested in the Copa del Rey clash against Valencia and it is expected that the four first choice defenders will be making a return back into the lineup on Sunday.

This means that the likes of Thomas Vermaelen, Marc Bartra, Jeremy Mathieu and Aleix Vidal are expected to drop down to the bench once again.

Midfield

Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta were unsurprisingly rested during the midweek encounter with Valencia which means that the duo should be taking their place in the starting lineup on Sunday.

Ivan Rakitic was deployed in a more advanced role on Wednesday night and he played the entire 90 minutes. With Arda Turan likely to be used in attack this weekend, it seems very likely that Rakitic will revert back to a midfield position this weekend.

Attack

Lionel Messi is a doubt for the clash due to an illness and Arda Turan is widely expected to be taking the Argentine superstar’s place in the starting lineup against Celta.

Neymar and Luis Suarez did not feature against Valencia and the duo should now be well rested enough to fire on all cylinders on Sunday.
