Arsenal are preparing a whopping wage package of around £51.5million to tie down star man Alexis Sanchez to a brand new contract, according to reports from the Football Insider
Alexis Sanchez has managed to set the Emirates Stadium alight since making a £35million move to Arsenal from Barcelona at the start of last season and the Chilean international is now considered as one of the most indispensable players in the current Gunners’ squad.
Sanchez set for bumper new contract
Due to Sanchez’s brilliant performances, it has been no surprise whatsoever in seeing the 27-year old attract interest from a host of clubs but Arsenal clearly would surely not want to lose their star man at any price during the foreseeable future.
Now in order to keep Sanchez happy at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal have begun talks with the Chilean international over a new and improved contract – if reports from the Football Insider are to be believed.

The Football Insider claims that Arsenal have begun negotiations with Sanchez’s representatives over a 5-and-a-half year deal which could be worth up to a whopping £51.5million.
Arsenal have a deal in principle agreed with Mesut Ozil to increase his salary from £50,000-per week to £180,000-per week and the Gunners are looking to offer Sanchez a similar weekly wage package.
