Sanches has emerged as one of the hottest properties in Portuguese football after breaking into the Benfica first team this season and his impressive performances has led to interest from a number of top clubs around Europe.

In a bid to stave off the interest, Benfica had agreed to increase Sanches’ release clause to £61.4million as part of a recent contract extension.

However, that has not stopped United from pursuing Sanches and it has been claimed that the Red Devils have agreed on a deal to secure the services of the 18-year old during the upcoming summer.
