Manchester United ready to sign Arsenal’s 20-year old transfer target

Old Trafford

Metro‘s new report suggests that Manchester United look ready to sign PSG’s 20-year old French midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, during the January transfer window.

Adrien Rabiot is eager to leave the French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, in order to play more first-team football. This news had previously angered Lauran Blanc according to Metro and The Independent, with him being quoted to say:

“It annoys me. Adrien has to understand that when you have the possibility of going at the end of your contract and to leave for free, you can do it. Otherwise, when you sign a contract of five years with PSG, you have to respect your first club.”

However, contrary to what Blanc had said, Don Balon claims that PSG have set a £21.4 million price for the French midfielder and are ready to sell him. It was then that Rabiot became one of Arsenal’s major transfer targets, with the Gunners attempting to negotiate his price.

However, Louis Van Gaal is said to be a big fan of the youngster and wants to get him in the January transfer window. And although both the Red Devils and the Gunners are looking to get Rabiot, Don Balon also claims that between Arsenal and Manchester United, it’s the Red Devils who are more willing to pay his price.
