Barcelona went on to cap off their domination of Spanish, European and World footbaal by claiming five trophies in 2015, easing their way to the FIFA Club World Cup Championship title in Japan recently.

While Barcelona’s achievement over the last 12 months have been quite sensational, manager Luis Enrique will surely not allow his players to rest on their laurels and the Catalans will now be hoping to replicate their magnificent feat this term as well.

Barcelona now switch their attention back into La Liga with a clash against Real Betis at the Nou Camp on Wednesday night and with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid closing the gap at the top of the table, the World Champions will be keen on claiming all three points.

Here is the Strongest Possible Lineup for Barcelona against Real Betis –

Goalkeeper

Claudio Bravo is the first choice goalkeeper for Luis Enrique between the sticks and the Chilean has been very solid so far this season.

That said, Bravo did not enjoy the best of games during the 2-2 draw against Deportivo La Coruna last time out and he will now surely be keen on making amends by keeping a clean sheet against Real Betis.

Defence

In defence, Javier Mascherano has established himself as the first choice centre back ahead of the likes of Jeremy Mathieu and Thomas Vermaelen and the Argentine star will be starting once again at the heart of the defence alongside Gerard Pique.

As for the full back positions, the duo of Dani Alves and Jordi Alba are the undisputed first choice and will be continuing in the starting lineup for certain.

Midfield

Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta are expected to continue their partnership at the middle of the park but there are doubts regarding the fitness of Sergio Busquets for the clash.

If indeed Busquets misses out, Sergi Roberto will be in contention to make a start while Sandro Ramirez might well be pushed into a deeper position as well.

Attack

In attack, there is no doubt whatsoever that the fantastic trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez will be starting.

The three players have been wreaking havoc on opposition defences over the past 18 months and the Real Betis backline will surely have a tough time containing ‘MSN’.
