Manchester United are planning to make a record breaking €100million move for Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller, according to reports from Sport1
It is no secret that Manchester United are currently looking to strengthen their attack and it is widely being reported that the Red Devils are on the verge of securing the services of Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona.
With Angel Di Maria also reportedly on his way out of Old Trafford by joining Paris Saint German though, United may require another attacker in addition to Pedro and now according to reports emerging out of Germany, it has been revealed that the Premier League giants are eyeing a move for Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.
United want to sign Muller
Sport1 claim that United already have had a bid of around €82million for Muller rejected and now the Red Devils are looking to up the ante by placing a fresh offer of €100million for the striker.
Current United manager Louis van Gaal was the man who handed Muller his big break at Bayern a few seasons ago and the striker has since flourished into one of the best players in the world.
As a result, van Gaal is said to be keen on a reunion with Muller at United as he looks to guide the club back into contention for the Premier League title for the upcoming campaign and is hopeful that his relationship with the German superstar will convince him to join.
While Muller may well be open to joining United, Bayern have made it clear that the striker is not for sale and it remains to be seen whether the reported €100million bid will change their stance.
