Manchester United have agreed on a whopping deal close to £40million for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to reports from the Daily Star
With Sergio Ramos currently unsettled at Real Madrid, Manchester United have registered their interest in signing the defender in recent times.
While Real Madrid are not keen on selling their star man, varying reports have claimed that Ramos has already made a formal request to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and it has meant that a transfer to Old Trafford for the defender could be likely.
In addition, Manchester United are playing hardball with Real Madrid over David De Gea and reports from the Marca state that the Red Devils will sanction the sale of the goalkeeper only when they allow Ramos to leave the Spanish capital.
Ramos ‘agrees’ move to Manchester United
Now in a further development, it has been claimed that Ramos has already agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of a potential move.
According to the Daily Star, Ramos has agreed a five year deal worth a whopping £39million and the transfer will come into fruition once the two teams are able to agree on a fee for the 29-year old.
No official word has come out of either Ramos or the United camp regarding the ‘deal’ but if indeed the Premier League side are able to pull off the signing of the Spanish international, they would surely become a strong contender for the Premier League title during the upcoming campaign.
