HUGE BOOST: Arsenal and Liverpool top-target made available for £10million

Stephan El Shaarawy burst into the scene for AC Milan a few seasons ago in spectacular fashion and was touted to become a superstar for the Rossoneri as well as the Italian national team in the years to come.

Unfortunately, El Shaarawy has not developed as initially anticipated and although the striker is still a very talented young player, he is not considered an indispensible part of the AC Milan side anymore.

Given AC Milan’s current financial predicament, it has been reported that the Italian side will look to cash in on a couple of their star players in order to raise funds and as a result, El Shaarawy has been touted to be sold by the club.

With El Shaarawy seemingly being made available, it has been no surprise to see a couple of clubs expressing their interest in signing the striker and recently, it had been claimed that Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool were set to be involved in a head to head battle to secure the services of the22-year old when the January transfer window reopens.

However, to refute such claims, El Shaarawy’s brother and agent, Manuel, had stated that only a ‘sensational’ offer would be enough for Milan to part with the Italian international while the striker himself had admitted that he is not too keen on a move away from the San Siro.

Now in another twist to the transfer story, it has been reported that Milan are in fact willing to allow El Shaarawy to leave and will do so for a fee in the region of only £10-12million.

Reports claim that AC Milan are looking to offload El Shaarawy in order to raise much needed funds as they look to revamp the squad so as to turn their fortunes around and as a boost for Liverpool and Arsenal, they could well be able to land their man for peanuts.
