On Sunday, everything looked good in the first 45 minutes – goals from Sterling and Skrtel, along with two spectacular saves from Mignolet put them in control, but all changed in second half. Goal from Silva and an own goal from Mignolet leveled the score and gave City psychological advantage. And just when it looked like we would witness a complete turnaround, an error from Kompany and a stunning volley from Coutinho turned out to be victorious for Merseysiders. Although many of players shared their joy and happiness via facebook statuses and twitter announcements, importance of the victory can be described only by this video:

Captain and legend of the Liverpool, Steven Gerrard, cried at the end of game and this shows how much this victory meant to him. This was a very important week, both for him, his teammates and club. Couple days ago, he and Suarez shared the Player of the Month reward, manager Rodgers won Manager of the Month award ,and today they claimed  their tenth consecutive victory in Premier League. He contributed in the victory with an assist for Skrtel’s goal, and he is aware how close the trophy is. Good luck, Steven and Reds army, this will be a crucial month for Liverpool in this season!
