The Daily Mirror is reporting that Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is likely to snub a return to Old Trafford in hopes he can secure a move to Real Madrid. Pogba was at United, but left in 2012 when he refused a contract extension.

Paul Pogba has been ins scintillating form for Serie A leaders Juventus all season. Earlier this season, it was reported that Moyes was at Juventus matches to watch Pogba as well as Arturo Vidal.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Manchester United were ready to offer more than 35 million pounds to secure Pogba’s services. But it looks as though Pogba is enjoying his football in Italy, but that if he is to move, he wants to go The Bernabeu, not back to Old Trafford.

Manchester United very much need strengthening all across the pitch, and Pogba would be a huge boost to the midfield. Pogba can sit deeper and do a defensive job, but for Juventus he has been more on the attacking prowess.

This report from The Daily Mirror makes this rumor more trustworthy than others. I would say that Pogba moving to Real Madrid over United is very likely and thus I give it a 7 out of 10.

Pogba would be a huge help for United, but it looks as though he is set to snub them. Pogba is a world class player and is still very young and only getting better. Pogba not going back to United will hurt them and is a 9 in that sense.

Looking at this rumor, it looks as though it is very much possible that Pogba could go to La Liga. Pogba has had his best professional season this year. Since United are most likely not going to make Champions League next season, more and more top players are going to go elsewhere. This looks very possible and I rate it an 8 in that sense.

The big thing is not that Pogba wants to go to Real Madrid, but that he is not interested in going back to a big club like United. United still are a big club, but this summer is going to be a test because they will probably be in the Europa League (maybe), not the Champions League.
