A young Argentine striker, Luciano Vietto, might be the next player that Liverpool would like to sign for the summer (source: Metro). The 20-year-old striker, who started his career in Estudiantes de La Plata, has been monitored by Liverpool since 2011. However, Liverpool are not the only big club interested in him. Several other big European clubs like Juventus, Manchester City and Real Madrid are also trying to get his signature.

“We know that many top clubs are following Vietto, “ said Vietto’s agent, Jorge Cysterpiller.

Furthermore, Cysterpiller said,”There is a lot of competition to sign him. Liverpool, we know, like him and so do Real Madrid – I think also two German teams.”

It is not a surprise that many top clubs are interested in him, because Vietto, now playing for Racing Club de Avellaneda, is a hot prospect and considered the best young player in Argentina. He has been compared to his senior compatriot, Sergio Aguero, and is called “the new Sergio Aguero” as he is a quick and clever striker. In his international carrer, he has scored two goals in his last four matches for U-20 Argentina team.

In short, Liverpool have shown their interest in the young Argentine striker, Luciano Vietto, and will try to sign him at the end of the season . However, it is not going to be an easy task, considering that many other top European clubs also want to sign him. The added demand for the young player will certainly raise his selling price.
