The Swansea City vs Manchester United match will take place this Saturday, August 17, 2013 (9:30 AM Pacific) at the Liberty Stadium.  A tough match will be played between two clubs that are expected to do great things in the Premier League 2013-2014 season.  The reigning champions, Manchester United, will begin a new journey where they will attempt to repeat on last year’s success, but under a new coach.  Swansea City was a nice surprise last year as they will participate in this year’s Europa League.

A new era begins this Saturday for one of the most historic teams on the globe.  For the first time in 26 years, Manchester United will have a coach other than Sir Alex Ferguson on the bench, as the David Moyes era begin.  The Red Devils did not make any major changes in the off season, therefore the style and intensity of the team could be very similar as the one shown by Ferguson’s team last season.

Manchester United has the pressure to duplicate on what they accomplished last season when they won the Premier League after finishing with 89 points.  A series of bad performances to begin the season season will immediately put unwanted strain on Moyes.  Unfortunately, the team will have many absences against Swansea City due to injuries and suspensions: Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez, Rafael, and Michael Carrick, while Ashley Young and Jonny Evans are doubtful.
