Chiapas F.C., previously San Luis, made their debut as a “new” team in Week 1 when they visited Veracruz 2-2. That game showed that this team has the pressure to win in order to leave the relegation zone, although they are have a low talented squad which is one of the Liga MX’s worst. Against Chivas the renewed Jaguares will play their first home match in front of fans which are used to their team always fighting for a place in the playoffs. The new Chiapas may not have sufficient strength to earn that, therefore it will be interesting to see how the home crowd welcomes their new team.
