Unfortunately for Cardozo, the first match of the season was a big disappointment; Toluca was defeated at home by Pachuca 1-0. Toluca was ineffective on offense, and somewhat weak on defense, overall, the team looked flat. Cardozo will have a very difficult time getting his team to come out with any points at the Estadio Morelos.
