Coach Jose Manuel De La Torre announced Mexico’s roster for the game against Jamaica next Wednesday, February 6, 2013 (9:30 PM EDT) at the Estadio Azteca.  After the game against Denmark which ended in a poor 1-1 tie, Mexico has the list of players which will face Jamaica in the first game of the last stage in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers.

The Mexican national team has five players that play in Europe, and nine who won the Olympic gold medal in London 2012.  The teams that provide the most players are Club America with 4, plus Tigres and Monterrey with 3.

This is a very young Mexican squad but with a lot of talent and experience.  It is interesting to note that Xolos of Tijuana players Cirilo Saucedo and Fernando Arce were called to serve their national team once again and that Carlos Vela and Guillermo Ochoa did not attend due to personal reasons.
