Toluca were simply too much for Chivas. Chivas tried, but they fell way short of the skill level necessary to defeat Toluca at the Estadio Nemesio Diez. Toluca now have to wait for the result of the Xolos vs Monterrey quarterfinal, if Xolos wins, Toluca will face America in the semifinals.
