Manchester United could secure their place in the top four with a win over Arsenal this weekend.

Jose Mourinho’s men are in need of three points to guarantee Champions League football next season.

Meanwhile, this could be Arsene Wenger’s final face-off with Jose Mourinho. The two have had a heated rivalry over the years and the Frenchman will be hoping to get one over the Manchester United boss this weekend.

Arsene Wenger is set to depart after 22 years in charge of Arsenal.

Mourinho and Wenger have faced each other 18 times in the past and the Portuguese has lost just two of those matches. Considering Manchester United’s home form against Arsenal, that run is likely to be extended this week.

Manchester United are undefeated in 13 of their last 14 home matches against Arsenal in all competitions.

Arsenal have nothing to play for in the Premier League anymore and they will be focused on the Europa League return leg against Atletico Madrid. The Spanish giants secured a 1-1 draw at Emirates in the first leg and Arsenal have a massive challenge ahead of them now.

Furthermore, Arsenal have a very poor away record this season and they will be going up against a side who are formidable at home. Jose Mourinho’s men have lost just twice at Old Trafford in the league.

As for Arsenal, they have only won three of 16 Premier League away matches this season.

The Gunners are expected to rotate heavily for this one. Wenger will be looking to bow out with a trophy and the Europa League game against Atletico Madrid will be his priority now.

Wenger is without the services of Mohamed Elneny, Santi Cazorla and Henrikh Mkhitaryan for this one. As for United, Sergio Romero is the only injury worry.

Manchester United are expected to go full strength for this one and they should be able to come out on top. Arsenal have often struggled at Old Trafford and with nothing left to play for in the league, the Gunners will lack motivation to do well here.

A home win seems quite likely this weekend.
