According to a report published by Sky Sports, West Ham have no intention of selling striker Andy Carroll to Chelsea this month.

Carroll has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge during recent weeks with Antonio Conte’s side considering bringing in cover for first choice forward Alvaro Morata.

Carroll does have lot of experience under his belt and is also a proven scorer at the highest level, however he does have a horrendous injury record and spends a lot of time on the side lines through injury.

Speaking ahead of his sides match against Huddersfield this weekend, Hammers manager David Moyes was asked about the possibility of his club selling Javier Hernandez and Carroll this month and he seemingly ruled out the possibility of a sale happening by saying: “I don’t want any of them to go.

“We have got no players here who we want to leave. We need to add to our squad. So, ideally, we strengthen. My intention is not to let anyone go.

“What I will say is we have got four or five strikers and the competition is tough for all of them. If we were (to let them go) it would take an awful lot of money in this window to prize them away.”
