Tottenham have been given a boost over their pursuit of AC Milan’s Suso after it was reported that Milan are looking to offload the attacking midfielder to help ease their financial burden.
During the summer, Milan indulged in a spending spree – with the Italian giants spending almost €200 million on various high profile arrivals. This investment had excited many fans and there was a real sense of rebuilding happening at the San Siro.
Just four months on from the splurge though, Milan find themselves struggling in the Serie A and are also reportedly failing to pay the huge wages they are obligated to hand their high profile players.
This has resulted in Milan wanting to sell some of their key players to ease the financial burden and it is believed that the Italian giants are going to cash in on their midfield star Suso in January.
Suso is on the radar of Premier League outfit Tottenham, who are looking to sign the attacking midfielder, and it is believed that Milan are willing to listen to offers for the midfielder from Spurs in the January transfer window.
