West Ham have already identified a replacement for David Moyes

Reports from Spanish media have claimed that former Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores could be in line to become West Ham manager at the end of the season.

The East London club appointed David Moyes as their new manager last Tuesday following the sacking of Slaven Bilic the day before.

During the month of October when Bilic was under pressure due to the club’s poor performances, it was reported that the clubs co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan were looking to appoint Flores as the club’s new manager.

However if Sport are to be believed, Flores could be appointed at the end of the season. Moyes has after all only been handed a deal which runs until the end of the season and the club could be viewing him as a short-term solution.

Flores is said to be keen on a return to the Premier League. West Ham will have to however pay compensation to Espanyol at the end of the season should they wish to recruit him.
