Former Spain youth international Samuel Saiz became Leeds United’s 7th summer signing after completing a £3million switch from Segunda Division side Huesca.
Since arriving Elland Road, the 26-year-old attacking midfielder has remained integral to manager Thomas Christiansen’s first team plans.
Following 11 Championship games, with Leeds on 20 points, statistics show Saiz has been the Whites’ best player of the campaign.

According to Opta, in 714 minutes of league football, the Real Madrid academy product has had 467 touches, with 29 of them coming from the opposition’s box.
He has attempted 309 passes – including 8 crosses, with 20 of them being goalscoring chances from which 2 assists have come.
Saiz has attempted 16 shots, and 7 of them have hit the bull’s eyes, with 2 finding the back of the net.
The team will hope to count on the creativity of the Spaniard when they host Reading later in the day, and should he come to the party, Leeds are guaranteed of all 3 points.
