West Ham receive a huge injury boost ahead of Huddersfield clash

West Ham have received a boost as it has been confirmed that Andy Carroll will be on the bench for their game against Huddersfield on Monday.

The Hammers are currently under pressure as they have lost all three of their opening Premier League fixtures and conceded ten goals in the process.

Should they lose against the Terriers, there is a good chance that manager Slaven Bilic will be sacked and the favorite to replace him is former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.

When on song Carroll can be a lethal finished and a threat to any team and his boost will be a huge boost to the East London club.

The clubs head of medical services, Gary Lewin confirmed that the former England international striker Carroll will return to action and said, “He has been training for just over two weeks and with the international break it will be even more by the time we get to Huddersfield, so he will be ready to start playing.

“When he does come back, it will be a gradual thing, you can’t just throw him in at the deep end. We did it with Diafra Sakho, he played for 20 minutes, then half an hour and then an hour. Andy will be the same, if we don’t do that then he will break down.”
