Andy Lonergan has rejoined Leeds United as a replacement for Rob Green after the veteran linked up with Premiership outfit Huddersfield Town. Lonergan will likely serve as a backup at the Whites to Felix Wiedwald.
Lonergan previously played for the Yorkshire giants from 2011-2012 before linking up with Bolton Wanderers.
He boasts significant experience in the Championship which will mean that he is a good backup option. The 33-year-old joined Wolves last summer from Fulham and went on to play 15 times for them last term.
Green meanwhile has joined Huddersfield on a deal which will expire at the end of the season though they will have an option to extend the deal by a further deal
The 37-year-old is unlikely to feature much for the Terriers this season but considering that he is a former England first choice shot-stopper and has over ten years of experience playing in the top flight, he could be a good mentor within the team.
