As per the Daily Mail, Leeds United midfielder Liam Bridcutt is edging closer to an Elland Road exit and is keen on a move to fellow Premier League chasers Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year-old might have already played his last game for the Peacocks as he is yet to feature under new manager Thomas Christiansen in the league.
Bridcutt, the side’s skipper under former manager Garry Monk has since fallen down the pecking order, and wasn’t included for the squad that faced Sunderland on Saturday.
The Scotland international defensive midfielder arrived Leeds from Sunderland on an initial loan deal in November 2015, but a permanent move was completed at the end of the season, with then Whites manager Steve Evans impressed with his performances.
Till date, Bridcutt has played 49 Championship games for Leeds, and while new captain Lewis Cook would do a good job leading the squad, the leadership qualities of the tough-tackling Scot will be missed.
