According to reports, West Ham have informed Robert Snodgrass that he is surplus to requirements at the club.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Leeds United and Newcastle over recent weeks.
Snodgrass joined the Hammers in January following an impressive first half of last season with Hull City.
He was expected to add creativity to the East London side following the departure of the controversial Dimitri Payet, however he failed to impress and did not score a goal from 15 Premier League appearances.
It remains to be seen where Snodgrass will go to, though the Magpies could be the preferred option especially as a move to Tyneside will allow him to carry on playing in the Premier League.
The Scotland international previously played for Leeds from 2008-2012 before leaving to join Norwich City. It remains to be seen whether he will be keen to return to Elland Road.
