Kenny Miller has said that he believes that Rangers summer recruit Alfredo Morelos has what it takes to succeed in Scottish football. Morelos scored his third goal in two games after he netted during his club’s 3-2 defeat to Hibernian this weekend.
Miller started the game playing just off Morelos this weekend, however following the sending off of Ryan Jack, he moved into midfield to partner Graham Dorrans.
The 37-year-Miller has been a professional for the past 19 years and there are arguably not many players who will be more familiar with Scottish football than him.
He now thinks that Morelos has what it takes to succeed and said, “Alfredo is coming on; he is a young lad who has made a big impact in the last two games getting three goals. It is a work in progress but it will definitely get stronger as the season goes on.
“It is about getting to know each other, that chance where I put the ball over the keeper I am looking for my partner to be there.
“That understanding will no doubt come but we have options in the front area with Alfredo, Eduardo and also Josh can go up there as well. We can change the way we want to play as well because we have decent width in the team too.”
